Lantic Bay in Cornwall. It's a sunny day and there are three boats on the water as well as people on the beach.

Happiness comes in waves

Where to start! Cornwall has some of the best beaches in the UK, if not the world. Choose from sheltered south coast beaches and harbours, secluded rocky coves and iconic north coast sand and waves. Our beaches have a big tidal reach so there’s plenty of scope for rock-pooling too.  And the beach cafes, well… Here’s a few of our, and our guests’, beach picks.

Our location

Tredethick Farm is located beside the lower Fowey Valley, officially designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

South Coast beaches
With sheltered sandy coves, perfect for paddling and building sandcastles, these beaches are especially great for babies and toddlers.

Polkerris
Sheltered sandy cove with a funky, child-friendly restaurant and beach shop.

Readymoney
Small, sandy beach on the edge of Fowey with a beach café.

Porthpean
Lovely sheltered beach with a car park and beach shop.

Lantic Bay
A truly stunning location!

North Coast beaches
The Atlantic-facing North Coast beaches are brilliant for body boarding and surfing. Most have wide expanses of sand and are great for rock-pooling at low tide.

Trevone
Probably the best for small children. Fairly compact, it has a stream running onto it that children love playing in. Café and toilets.

Mawgan Porth
A dramatic setting with great facilities.

Watergate Bay

Huge sandy beach popular with surfers and families. Home to the Extreme Sports Academy.

Daymer Bay
Lovely expanse of sand where the Camel Estuary meets the sea.
